How to get to “Compass del Sur” ??

By bus (from every big city in Chile)
There are buses  from almost every big town / city in Chile coming to Puerto Varas. Several companies offer services, of which the largest are Cruz del Sur, Bus Norte, Pullman Bus, Turbus, Jac, Andesmar, Tas Choapa.

The buses arrives in different points in the city (different terminals)

The terminal from “Pullman Bus” is the closest to Compass del Sur and is located in the street Portales with San Pedro. >> See the Map

Tas Choapa, Turbus, Jac, Andesmar arrives also very close from our hostel and the “plaza de Armas” . The terminal is located in the street “Del Salvador”.  from where it is just a short way to our hospedaje (you just walk along Del Salvador street in direction square (east-direction Andes), until you find the cross with Arturo Prat Str. Turn left there and continue along A. Prat until you find to the right site the dirt str “Venegas” (next to the train rails). After 5 min. Walking along this street, you wil find a path (to the right) to cross over the train line reaching the paralel street “     “ continue along this street untill the perpendicular str “Estacion” where you take you right hand, only a few steeps and you will find our street “Klenner”  walking alond the right site of this str. you finaly will find the  wooden sign of Compass and our house on the right site of Klenner.  >> See the Map

The Station of Cruz del Sur, Pullmansur and Bus Norte is the most far located station from our hostel, right on the corner from San Francisco Street with García Moreno (to the south of town). You just walk until the  end of San Francisco  Street in direction square (from south to north). At the end of Sn. Fco, you will find some steps, this is the begining of “ Pasaje Ricke”, clim up  the steps until you reach at the end our street “Klenner” turn to the left and you will see again our Compass sing, we are the 3er house on the left site of Klenner. >> See the Map

 Some buses only go to Puerto Montt. If this is the case,ask to get off the bus at “Ruta 5”(Panameriacana) near Puerto Varas (northen gate of the village), and hail a mini-bus. One goes more or less every 15 or 30 minutes. Just wave your hand and the bus will stop and pick you up.

From Puerto Montt, it is also very easy. Just take the minibus showing a sign “Puerto Varas” from the bus station in town. This will cost depending from the bus company between 500 & 700 CLP.
They depart to Pto Varas every 5-10 min (the rides take 30 – 40 min.)

You can any way gives a call us from any telephon cabin of pto Varas after you arrives and we can book quikly a taxi service for you. (reference rate from any point in the city to us $ 1.500 CLP and $ 3.000 from the northem gate of Pto. Varas, (if you don,t want to wait for the sutler buses).

By ferry to Puerto Montt
When you arrives in Puerto Montt by ferry (Navimag) you can easily take a minibus to Puerto Varas (from the bus terminal in Pto. Montt). Either go to the main bus station and take a minibus to Puerto Varas, or better still stop a bus on the street displaying a sign “Puerto Varas”. This should be easy only and cost about 600 pesos!!

Como chegar

 De ônibus.

Practicamente desde qualquer cidade do Chile  é possível tomar um ônibus direto a Puerto Varas. As empresas mais conhecidas sao: Cruz del Sur, Pullman Bus, Turbus e Tas Choapa.

Qualquer uma dessas empresas tem seus termináis bem próximo a nossa hospedajem e a praca de Puerto Varas.

Desde qualquer terminal, só é necesario localizar a rua/calle San Francisco e encontrar no final desta uma antiga escada de cimento (pasaje Ricke) que leva até o antigo bairro Colonial. No final da secada, há uma rua chamada Klenner , alí é só dobrar a esquerda e seguir pelas calcadas e em uns pocos metros esta nossa casa com um letrero de madera escrito, “hospedaje Compass del Sur”é a terceira casa caminando desde o final da escada e têm o numero 467.

A cidade de Puerto Varas agora conta com um novo terminal rodoviario que esta localizado na rua/calle del Salvador e também oferece um acesso facil a nossa hospedajem caminando ou em um taxi.

Recordem que incluido em nossas tarifas por alojamento , esta sempre uma corrida de nossa hospedagem a qualquer ponto da cidade. só é necesario chamar de qualquer telefone publico e lhes vamos buscar imediatamente

Alguns ônibus, especialmente os que vem do norte, vao direto a Puerto Montt. Nesse caso, é só pedir para o motorista que pare na entrada norte da cidade de Pto. Varas (Ruta 5). Alí poderá tomar um dos mini buse que fazem a linha regular Pto. Montt-Pto. Varas (passam a cada 15 min).. mas se estiver com um tel. celular, podem nos chamar.

O valor da passagem em mini bus (coletivos) desde P. Montt esta entre 500 e 700 pesos chilenos (2 e 3 reais)por pessoa.

De Aviao./ Aeroporto “El Tepual” – Puerto Montt

Existem três formas de cegar a Pto. Varas desde o aeroporto: Tomando um ônibus coletivo (Bus del Aeroporto), o qual chega até o terminal rodoviario de P. Montt. Aí seria necesario tomar um mini bus, referido anteriormente, a Pto. Varas. O translado completo leva em média uma hora.

Um transfer particular dura em média 35 min.e custa 12.000 pesos(50 reais)

Outra forma é reservando nossos servicos de transfer privado.

Só é necesario que nos envie o horario de cegada ao aeroporto , n. do vôo e nome de um dos pasageiros, assim estaremos esperando com uma letrero da Compass del sur. Este servico custa, com desconto,para nossos clientes 11.000 pesos

De trem desde Santiago

Nao existe até este momento, um trem direto a Pto. Varas desde Santiago, mas é possivél viajar até Temuco e fazer uma conexao a Pto. Montt. Assim se pode saltar na estacao de Pto. Varas e já estará na rua/calle Klenner daí é só caminar à direita uns 100 metros, do lado esquerdo da rua esta nossa casa.

Por Cruz del Lago desde  Bariloche

O ponto de cegada dos passageiros que vem desde Bariloche por Cruz del Lagos, é a cidade de P. Varas. O ônibos deijam os passajeiros no centro da cidade. Daí é só nos contactar.
