Osorno Volcano - Active I

For those who want to explore this beautiful area actively and in small groups and not only visiting on a fast way and at the same time receive good infos and a personalized service

These excursions offer you a good option for a first touch of the typical Patagonian open landscape. We drive along the south shore of the great Llanquihue Lake in direction east to Vicente Peres Rosales Park (oldest Chilean Park) and Argentinean border.

Short official hike (About 2 hours) at the eastern shore of the pristine Todos Los Santos Lake with its green - blue colored water + other shorter contemplations walks in the following nice spots of the area:
(good option for swimming here particularly during the summer months)

Visit "River falls of Petrohue" "Saltos de Petrohue" where this great white water river in thousands and thousands of years create this fabulous color full river falls crossing the old basalt rock area.
We drive up to the ski center on mystic Volcano Osorno, enjoying nice views to the majestic Llanquihue Lake and the typical southern Chilean rainforest. (Good possibility for another optional short walk recognizing this typical volcanic landscape 1 hour approx).

Optional: ascension by ski lift to reach 1,700 m by the last ski station

By our way back we also visit the small but interesting "Green Lagoon" Laguna Verde with its great color close to the small village Ensenada on the feed of the volcano Osorno.
