Volcano Osorno - Active II
This excursion offers you a good option for a first touch of the typical Patagonian open landscape. We drive along the south shore of the great Llanquihue Lake in direction east to Vicente Peres Rosales Park (Chile’s oldest Park)
This excursion it’s just the best way to enjoy the area of Volcano Osorno and its interesting volcanic landscape in combination with the special rain forest of the surrounding and the great view from the ski center (1.200m) to the 3rd largest lake from South America the interesting “Llanquihue Lake” .
By nice, clear weather a perfect option to get an impression of the great geography this region, with impressive views of other mountains and volcanoes around like, Calbuco Volcano, Yates Volcano, Tronador Mountain.
On the Volcano you can choose between a short hike using the “red path“(50- 60 min.) or take the ski lift and reach the 3rd ski lift station located about 1.700 m high with another nice and impressive view over the Lake Llanquihue and a hanging glassier of the Osorno Volcano.

Even good for “long time travelers”, who want to combine this excursion with other activities like, Canopy, Kayaking, and Canoeing etc etc. building this way a Full Day Program.
During the summer months, a good option to include a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of the great lake llanquihue, check with the guide on the day of the tour!
